She watched in horror as the knife went into her fiancé’s back. Time seemed to be moving in slow motion. She couldn’t move, she couldn’t scream.
She watched as Dean and Bobby rushed forward to help Sam. Still, she couldn’t find it in her to move.
A dull pain started in her heart. As the seconds ticked by the pain started to grow more and more intense.
She was vaguely aware of Bobby and Dean moving Sam. She barely heard him when Dean called her name. She followed him but she doesn’t remember any of it.
All she knew was the pain that had settled in her heart. It was a pain like no other. It was the kind of pain that would always be there. It would lessen in time but it would never go away and nothing could ever fix it.
