Board...
Once again, it occurs to me that I am bored.
We so rarely venture out anymore...between trying to save money for moving along with a tandem debt we need to pay. It sucks.
Its either feast or famine in my bank. I get some moneys and I spend some moneys. Between my unemployment check, my part time job and teaching, I get enough to pay my end of the bills (gas, electric, phone and for my storage place) Nigel pick up the internets and half the phone and rent, A picks up the other half of the rent. So I never really get any stashed.
Sadly, today I went to the thrift store and they were having a 40% of sale. Along with a book sale. I got 15 books for $3.00. Good, cause I wanted to join The an online book swap. The sad part, I found an amazing vintage style black velvet brocade couch...and chair. After the sale it would have been about 150.00 OMG! I hate Nigel's futon.
I rarely use the front room...either N and L are in it, OR the man of the house is gaming. He uses that TV or our TV in the bedroom to game.
Im just kinda left to my own devices every night now. I have projects yes, but at times some company would be nice. Im not the kind of woman who will bitch him out for it tho. He works hard and deserves time. But it would be nice if we had a cable connection so I could watch junk TV.
I notice we dont really leave the house. He went to Brian's luau since he worked up that way, it was a quick stop in. We missed Oscars party even tho I planned and made salsa...cause he worked up that day and got a late fire call and had to work the next day etc...so heres hoping our move will liven up our social life.
Physically, Im still a wreck. Mentally, Im worried about moving (where, when, how all inclusive plus Im still nervous)
The apartment downstairs from me is empty, today I poked in and looked. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. Its nice. GEEEEEZZZZ My hovel is ugly. I want to live in that space.
Pergo floors, gorgeous remodeled, huge ceiling fans, the walls NOT apartment white, pretty tiles and special fixtures in teh bath. It was fucking amazing.
Yeah, these are my problems right now. Im pretty damm lucky!
