More happy!
After the January to June daughter drama of this year. Its very nice to realize that we have found a wonderful place to share.
She texts me or calls me almost daily now. Often to wish me well on some project I am doing. Its nice. I have been helping here and there when I can with things. Their funds are super tight, just like everyones. He has been paying rent AND the deposit for thier apartment. This is the last month, so things should ease up quite a bit for them soon.
She had been talking about getting her hair cut...short. For years now she has shunned me as her hair dresser, back when she first bleached the black out of her hair, I cut a lot off...dead, bleached hair...she never got over it. *eye roll* SO anyhow, I get a pic of her on my phone last week. Her hair is super short and burgundy coloured. I responded with a WOW. She explained it was virtual, she and her friend had tried this program...but she wanted it like taht and would I help her.
So yesterday, I picked her up, got some hair colour and lunch. We spent the afternoon at her place doing her hair. I got scared when I started to cut. Mind you I did hair for 10 years and still do cuts. There was a tense moment when I first finished.
She went to dry and fix it. It was cute, she fixed me up in a chair with the remote so I could entertain myself while she primped. I realized the cut needed to be shorter in the back...she trusted me and the result was WOW! eye popping gorgeous! She looked wonderful.
We went to the 99cent store after and at one point I turned around looking for her...hehe She was standing in front of me, boy was I embarassed!
Her b/f was speechless!!!
Just nice that we can sit at her table and chat...like ladies, exchanging ideas and thoughts. She will ask for my opinion now...and reach out. Its so very very nice!
