Comparing these songs to the 1983 ones, I can make some observations. Some people still give their songs stupid names (i.e. 2002's "Oops (Oh My)" and 1983's "The Safety Dance"). Some people still have retarded band names (i.e. 2002's "BBMak" and 1983's "Men Without Hats"). It is also clear that "pop" music has gradually sucked and sucked harder as the years have gone by.
