The Disc Caddy is wounded, but not enough to kill it. The bank denied us... mostly because we didn't have enough colateral. Between my car and his truck and both of our regular jobs, we had well more than enough to cover the amount we asked for. But banks have to bugger things up with calculations and percentages and whatever else they gotta do to tip the scales unfairly in their direction. Miah and I were pretty pissed. The bank tried a second time, changing some things around, but they denied us again. So Miah and I got pissed all over again.
But as I said, The Disc Caddy isn't dead. Our foods-line manager at Meijer (Jack) is interested in helping us out. We don't know what he has in mind but we are meeting with him today at 1:30. He may co-sign with us, or lend us the money to get started (the guy is loaded). Who knows, he might just want to talk us out of starting a business.
