one more thing...
i went to that concert thats on the front page of today's chronicle... the Newport Jazz Festival. it ruled. that old guy James Moody could really play. and he was hilarious. He asked us "What are the worst 3 words to hear while you are making love.... 'honey, i'm home'" and he said that 'women are like pianos, when they aren't upright, they're grand" .... this guy is 79 years old. he continued to sing / scat a song and towards the end the drummer busted into a hip-hop beat and Mr. Moody proceeded to rap. It was so GDF'ING funny, he ruled. The whole show was great, and it was free.
