(no subject)
bah, its 1:24 and i'm still awake! i start classes again today damn it and here i sit wide awake with a plethora of thoughts running through my head. so much to think about lately. chris, friends, work, classes, family, dieting, becca's wedding, research, the future and then cycle back through again and again and again. i wish i could just shut it off at least for a little while to sleep. even my sleepy time itunes playlist full of postal service and other lulling bands isn't helping. grrrrr.
the birthday curse did happen this year. i don't really want to talk about it though. it wasn't even that bad, but lets not go there. for the most part it was a good day. chris spent the night before because he had something early at the art building to get ready for classes. we got up and i started making a swedish breakfast. my mom and aunt came to visit and along with dan, jesse, matt, chris and i we all ate a lot of food. it was yummy. chris, mom, my aunt and i then went to the mall and did a bit of shopping. my mom and aunt pretty much love chris, and the rest of the boys for that matter. after my mom and aunt left chris and i just took it easy for awhile and then ate at village inn (we heart breakfast all the time) and went to see night at the museum. it was really cute and quite funny. a smidge sappy at times but hey, what do you expect from a family movie. sometimes its nice to watch a movie where everything turns out happy.
saturday i went out with bunch of friends to joe's and to studio for dancing. i had a good time...way too good of a time in fact which ended in me blowing chunks in my shower still drunk at about 7 am. i was too out of it to understand how to deal with the situation. i somehow got back to my room to tell chris what had happened and he cleaned it up for me and got my hello kitty sippy cup for me with water in it because i was dehydrated. when a boy cleans up your vomit and doesn't complain about it you know its love.
sunday was a very very lazy and hungover day. jason, chris, and i watched some tenacious d master works, clerks 2, and will and grace and watched the snow fall. i sat on my sled in the middle of the living room at midnight excited to go sledding.
and of course today sledding i went with jason and chuck. it was good fun. we had hot chocolate afterwards and watched some aqua teen. later i hung out with dan and jesse and jesse gave me a count chocula t-shirt for my birthday. i wore it tonight while i ate some count chocula. kick ass.
ok, i'm going to try to sleep again.
