This is a semi question/prompt I guess-

In this verse do you reference the fact that Sam was looking in on Dean at the end?

That's the question and here's the prompt

1. Sam's able to "break out" from hell and view the real world as well as Dean.

Ah. See. That's the thing. This 'verse--I think I managed to say this to my betas and *forgot* to put it anywhere in the fics. Or maybe I did... in my notes on the first one posted... *scratches head*--anyway this 'verse is based off the idea of what would have happened if 5.22 (Swan Song) had been the last episode of the series as originally intended by Kripke, before the CW decided they liked the viewers they were getting through SPN and absolutely *had* to have it back. If that had been the case, the episode would have ended, I believe 15 seconds sooner and we wouldn't have seen the shot of "Sam" at the end. So, no my 'verse doesn't reference that shot.

Except... I can totally see Sam being able to look in on Dean, a *lot* like you're saying...

I'm kind of intrigued by the idea of Sam still being in Hell (beause he's got work to do there and it's very important work, and he's the only one who can do it), but maybe figuring out how to project himself or something so he can look in on Dean and his family? I'm just not sure *yet* ( ... )

oh, I misunderstood that when I first read the part. Actually, apparently it was Jensen's idea to have someone looking in on the happy family but to have them cased in shadows so people wouldn't know who it was.

But since your story gives Sam hope, I thought that he would figure a way to check in on Dean occasionally.

I'm glad that you liked the prompt :D

Ah didn't know that part was Jensen's idea... but the actually showing us it's Sam thing was as I understand it added when they got the greenlight for S6... But my intel on that could be faulty ( ... )
