Name: Shiro Arsenic
From: Pokemon Black/White (The Video Games, not the Anime)
Appearance:
Age: Sixteen, if fanon is anything to go by...
Gender: A female, of course. No traps here!
Personality: For the most part, Shiro's a bit of a 'good girl' in terms of personality. She follows the rules, though some creative liberties can be taken if it's for the good of the person she's helping. She doesn't believe that anyone is truly bad to the bone unless they prove the disgusting nature of their heart outright. She tends to be a little on the quiet side, though if she really is comfortable she begins to display a bit of a quirky nature. A little eccentric at some points, and rather excitable by good things. She's also got a high level of determination, and outright refuses to set her sights elsewhere unless the current path proves fruitless.
On the other side of the spectrum, however...she is easily frightened. Seriously, make a sound when the room is silent and she'll jump. In the dark and you bump into her? A good screech. If this is done on purpose, she'll definitely have a nice pout on her face. She really doesn't appreciate being intentionally scared, really. Her quiet nature really does tend to show for the most part, as she tends to be a girl of somewhat few words. She has a bit of an awkward way of speaking when she needs to do so in a group. A constant use of 'ums' and some repeated words can be expected. She doesn't stutter though, she'll give herself that. She just doesn't work so well as a group speaker or leader. A little 'stage shy' in some cases as well. All in all, she likes to be of help...but from the sidelines. It's needless to say that it took a lot for her to try and take the Gym Challenge, Elite Four, and Team Plasma down.
It doesn't take much for her to panic either. If one is able to rile her up enough, she's very easily stressed out and can think a little rashly as well. Stress is something Shiro can't work with at all. Breathing time is something Shiro thrives on in order to think straight. Deprive her of that, and you have one very impulse prone girl on your hands.
Backstory: Shiro grew up pretty normally for a girl from her world. She lived with her mother for the most part, her father working in another region in order to support his family well enough to keep them living in Unova. She grew up there in the small quiet town, befriending a few other children in town and played with them a lot. These two would become her best friends; Cheren and Bianca. A well known trio of friends that perfectly balanced one another out. They grew overtime, and so did their bonds. They awaited anxiously the day that they would become Pokemon trainers to make their region proud.
At the age of sixteen, this happened for all three of them. Shiro started out with a faithful partner in her Snivy; Cheren choosing Tepig, and Bianca choosing Oshawott. As time went on, their teams changed...and they were met with one of the biggest challenges they would probably ever face. A man known as N had made public his decision to 'liberate' Pokemon; to separate them from their trainers in order to make them happier. He lead a team known as Team Plasma, who were just as set on liberating the Pokemon as he was. Though, they seemed much more hypocritical about such a thing, seen when they began kicking a Munna in the wild. As they took on the Gyms, over time they had to take on Team Plasma as well. It seemed no matter what, they were always a few steps ahead...
As such, over time Shiro began wondering. Could N possibly be right? Each time he spoke to her Pokemon, they always said such nice things about her. It must've meant she was raising them right, wasn't it? It definitely put a shackle in her confidence as a trainer. Her team changed over time as well, but it seemed nothing changed the path she walked as a trainer. No matter what, she kept going for the sake of everything...and in due time she made it to the Pokemon League. Again, this proved to be yet another place where Team Plasma's plan would come into fruition. Once Shiro managed to get to the Champion, it seemed N had already made it. Shiro once again took on grunt after grunt in order to make it to him, before the dragon he had summoned before, Zekrom, appeared once again. Within moments, the Light Stone previously gotten from Lenora from Narcarne City shined to bring forth Reshiram to this battle.
You see, before this fight began, N had grabbed another part of his plan to make his dream a reality. Managing to steal the fabled Dark Stone, he lead the bunch to the Dragonspiral Tower. Summoning Zekrom, he flew off...but it was then the others devised a plan. There was only one way to defeat such a powerful dragon; with it's opposite. Shiro was chosen as the one to summon Reshiram forth, catching it and battling N until the end. After that however...they realized the true extent of the problem. Ghetsis revealed his true plans, to take over the Unova region and ensure that no one else would have Pokemon but him. After Shiro managed to battle and defeat him, he was taken away and N went off on his own. Shiro released Reshiram soon after, letting the dragon go back to it's natural work...
After all was said and done, she had gone after the sages of Team Plasma. Each of them had a story that proved Ghetsis's cruelty against N, and not to mention exactly how twisted his mind became on the perception of humans. Helping a man known as 'Looker' find them and take them into custody, it made Shiro hope that N would be able to lead a normal life. After bidding him farewell, she had gone to the Marvelous Bridge. There greeting her, were the members of the Shadow Triad. They said Ghetsis had gone free...but they were not to go after him. Shiro's heart practically stopped after hearing those words. After they gave her the three orbs of the Creation Trio and went off, Shiro could only stand there in shock. He was still at large...that very prospect scared Shiro right out of her mind.
It was then that she decided to go into training. There was no way that she'd be able to take him on again if the time came that she had to...
Moral Standing: Good as good gets.
Dreams: To be the Pokemon League Champion! ...In due time, of course. She's still training as of now.
Fears: Shiro's a huge scaredycat, but there are a few things that she fears more than anything.
First among these? Absolute darkness. When you can't see anything in front of you, behind you, or nearby. Being blinded could fall under this as well. It's quite frankly a fear of being unable to see. Shiro relies on her eyes a lot to see things, and just losing her sight for even a moment could send her frenzying in a matter of moments. Her reaction time is a tiny bit slow, as she'd probably wait a few seconds to see if everything comes back on before going into a panic.
People who are absolutely evil also scare her. Even the worst of people still have a heart somewhere down there...but there are some people who just don't. She has a hard time understanding just...why could they do something like that. For example, Ghetsis towards N. What could've motivated him into doing something like that? N had done nothing wrong...
Extra: Will she be able to bring her Pokemon team? I just wanted to be sure unless you'd like her to not come with them; I'm not sure if it's against the rules. Link to the team is right

Thinking about everything that had happened within the first month of becoming a trainer was needless to say, staggering. She beat the Gyms, and with incredible haste. She had taken on her rivals many upon many times, coming out on top in all of their battles. She had even taken down a criminal organization, albeit with the help of many others in the process. All within her first month of being a trainer, and it was a truly horrifying prospect to behold. So many faces seen, many voices heard, and many new opinions to explore. It didn't come without the gain of something, but the loss of another.
What Shiro had gained was an impressive reputation among trainers. Who could seriously think that a sixteen year old girl could take down all of the gyms, and a criminal organization? Or rather, 'well intentioned extremest' as many referred to them. Shiro didn't mind all of the praise at all, though she tended to be silently thankful that so many had faith in her. It was a shame, all in all; they didn't know the true nature of Shiro at all. They put her on the pedestal of a brave heroine who saved the region from utter disaster. That was where that loss came into play.
The world around was not as safe as everyone said it was. Certainly, there were some rabid wild Pokemon...but nothing could prepare her for the sheer evil of the world she had found. Manipulation that was unrivaled by anything television could produce. It stunned Shiro how cold this world could get in a matter of moments, or exactly how afraid one might be once everything was said and done. To think that he's still at large, if what the Shadow Triad had said was anything to go by. He was still out there, somewhere...
"Surely you can take him on again! You've done it once, and we have the faith you can do it again." Her mother had told her when she said this. Shiro simply blinked at her mother when she said that, sinking into her seat. Shiro's mother looked concerned for a moment, but Shiro did her best to perk herself up. "You're right, Mom! I'll make sure he never hurts anyone again...!" That brought a smile to her mother's face, going to give her daughter a small hug before looking to the time. Well, time to go to Accumula to get something for dinner...the very second her mother left, Shiro simply sighed before letting out one of her team. Whimsicott looked over at her trainer, tilting her head.
"...I'm not as brave as everyone says I am. But...I guess I have to keep everything up for the sake of everyone around the world, don't I?" Shiro said with an almost dull voice. Whimsicott jumped onto her trainer's lap, before Shiro resorted to petting the Windvieled Pokemon with a sigh. She could deny her true nature all she wanted; she was still just a scared little girl no matter what anyone said.
