so it's been a while
okay, i haven't written in a while -- it's just that sometimes i wonder if anyone ever reads in anymore!
oh well, here goes...
it's been 5 months today for alvey and i. he makes me so happy, but it surprises me that it's been 5 months. i'd had so much trouble with guys and relationships that i was beginning to wonder if one would ever last mroe ( Read more... )
about the sk q you had, here's a few things we've done (although some have past but i'll tell you anyway):
(1) we make holiday cards (vday, st patty's day, christmas, stuff like that) and bring them to alzhiemer's or nursing homes to brighten their days
(2) we have a "send a sweet to your sweetie" booth for vday so peopel can send candy and a note to a friend or special someone. we usually all donate a bag of candy to the fundraisor so we dont have to use budget for it.
(3) we're doing a benefit concert called "ShamROCK Fest" this friday for st. patty's day that should raise lots of money. we're having local bands there.
(4) we sell lollipops at football games (which sells a KILLING!!) and we're getting a booth at the local BBQ fest (carnival, music, etc, event)...
(5) we pie your professor booth at least years fall preview. we charged a buck for 3 balls and a buck per pie. we sold the lollipops there too, and said if you pay 1.50 you get 3 balls and a lollipop.
