Turns out I drew a thing again
This one was pretty educational. Light pencil roughs, touchup with heavy pencil, then inking with a Staedtler Lumocolor watersoluble black finepoint marker. If this marker might be yours -- I'm looking at you, racerxmachina -- speak up. I have no memory of ever acquiring this item. Then I essayed some painting in teal and fuchsia fountain pen inks (Pilot Varsity, which coldsleep and I are big fans of -- he specifically IM'd me to notify me when Orifice Despot was stocking them again). The highlights that look such a washed-out pumpkin color are actually fairly vibrant orange highlighter. Not shown: Botched fuchsia ornamentation on the main body that I thought would help the perspective of the central ellipsoid show up more clearly but instead actually wrecked it. Post-scanner image editing hides a multitude of sins, doubtless while introducing a second host.
