OK so here goes, lots to say let's see if i can get things out they way i want them to sound hehe...
Ok first things first, daily life! James and I are happily settled into our 1 bedroom apt. in the Lake City neighborhood of north Seattle. The apt. is cute and very cheap, but also in kind of a seedy neighborhood, but we're not too worried, we don't have an expensive car so it most likely won't get broken in to. But this apt. is only temp. we hope to have a nicer one in about a year after we play some cath-up with bills.
I LOVE my job, i think i have mentioned before that i am the office manager and personal assistant to 2 prestigious psychiatrists, who also happen to do forensic work, which is way exciting! James is somewhat ok with his current position as a warehouse laborer, he really wants to get up to apprentice carpenter as soon as he can tho, that will make him really happy.
Well James and I are both finally 22, he had his birthdat last friday, and so to celebrate we went to a festival on saturday. And let me tell you it was the most amazing fest. i've EVER been to in my whole entire life, no lie... It was *drum roll* Seattle's Hemp Fest, OMG 2 whole days dedicated to all the glory off weed, pot, cannabis, mary jane, whatever you want to call it. It had great music, awsome food, lots of helpful information on what you can do to help get it legalized and other political stuff. Not to mention people smoking EVERYWHERE! Right in the open at the public park!! Oh yeah there were cops there but they didn't do a damn thing. As long as you weren't lighting up right in front of them, they didn't do squat! It was simply amazing and we both just felt so alive! The park it was held at was right on the Puget Sound (for those of you not familiar with the Seattle area, the sound is a big chunk of the ocen that is a huge bay) and it was so cool cause for about a half hour during that day we just sat on the rocks right on the water and smoked, surrounded by hundreds of other people doing same. And i mean people from all walks of life were there; hippies, teens, beaners (as carlos mencia would call them), african americans, upper class business folks, you name it they were there, all just being people, your race or status didn't matter!! Oh oh and at 4:20 they threw free joints from the mainstage!! OMG!!! lol it was so cool, i think we took a few pics that i will work on getting posted.
So that was the weekend, and this week will be interesting because my very good friend Nick has come out to visit from WI. His dad lived here and unfortunately passed away on sunday, so he is staying with us while he does all of the legal work. But for fun he is taking James and I out to some islands for the weekend. (Nick just came into a lot of money becuase he sold one of his inventions!! GO NICK!) So this week and weekend should be quite awsome!
Ok well i suppose i should get my ass back to doing some real work.... and listening to the radio to try and win TOOL tickets!
