I was at the wedding yesterday, more accurately at the party afterwords, but I'm not sure about the english word for it (reception?). A friend of mine from work, Tihana, was getting married. Actually, I only got back home about two hours ago, slept a little, and now I can't sleep anymore, although I'm so so tired

I liked the sound of the romanian band! :) It sounds very authentic, I like that. Now imagine a sound similar to that mixed with techno/dance/rock/pop all together and you get turbo-folk.
And Let 3 LOL they are SO crazy! It's not just the video you saw, for them it's completely normal to go out on stage wearing nothing but one sock (on their penises) and a dead fish around their necks (pretending to be ties). Don't worry about not understanding what they sing, I don't understand it either :D
I found you some videos on youtube. The first one is the example of how klapa singing sounds a capella, and the second is similar, but a different klapa, and it's not a capella, the second one is actually my favorite *klapska pisma* (klapa song).
Then tamburice orchestra, playing Mozart's *Eine kleine Nachtmusik*, and in the end the Lado ansamble. Hope you enjoy!:)

I went to see a performance like this once...there's this group Živili that's based in my home state of Ohio (there are a lot of people from Slavic countries who live there, for some reason). They look like this: http://home.columbus.rr.com/zivili/
My mom took me to see them once when I was younger...maybe about 11...I thought it was pretty awesome. ^_^ Apparently my great-aunt used to perform dances like these; my mom said she did some kind of dance that involved a pillow...? Maybe you know what I'm talking about..? :D
Anyway, thanks so much for sharing those videos - they were great! ^_^
