Thanks dude. If anything, I think the Ford plant closing would be rife with story ideas. I know, it's bad for the people that live out there, but bad news is good news in my future line of work.
I haven't seen much of you lately, hope you're doing well. I've got my 30th coming up in June, and Tito's is in July, so hopefully I'll be running into you at some point in the near future.
Yeah, I've pretty much been holed up for the past several months. Hell, I live with Kim and I hardly see her. Taking a ton of classes (including Spanish, which is sucking my will to live), working a ton and balancing a relationship on top of all the regular chores that still need to be done has pretty much left me with no social life lately. I pretty much come home, eat dinner, start on homework and then go to bed. But I've recently cut my hours at work and only have 4 more weeks of this quarter and am taking a lighter coarse load in the summer. So, I'm sure I'll be out and about relatively soon.
Isn't that slated to close in the next year or so? I had forgotten that was announced and thought it had already happened. That will be a huge blow to the economics on the far east side of town.
$500/month for a house? Damn! The rent is the biggest reason I miss living in the midwest. Remember my place in Delhi? That place was only $560/month.
Out here in Seattle $560/month might rent you a broom closet in a meth-trailer on the outskirts of some rural town. You can't touch anything worth living in around here for under $900.
I know, man. I couldn't believe it when I read the classified in The Enquirer. I mean, I doubt the house is going to be very nice (for all I know, the house might have once served as a meth trailer), but I'm thinking if it's any indication, I'll be able to get a nice place for a good price.
Once I make a name for myself, I might actually be able to afford Seattle. :D

Good luck with the Batavia paper. Hopefully the town doesn't implode once the Ford Plant closes at the end of this month
