Oh, look. The US Postal Service has a sense of humor. Well, I thought it was cute, at least. Bite me.
Anyhow, more job hunting news: Today, I go to Spherion to talk to them about my backup plan job, which is selling computers for Dell. Wheee Dell.
I patiently await the response from Brown Mackie regarding my interview last night. The woman I spoke to indicated that she looked forward to meeting me face to face some day. And then she went on to tell me that I've got a lot of things that they really look for when they're recruiting. And then she told me that I should definitely expect to hear from the hiring manager at the N.KY location by week's end. These, to me, are all good signs.
People, if I get this job, I will definitely be able to move out. Soon. If that happens, then I'm going to need help finding a place in N.KY. I'm thinking either Bellevue or Ludlow. Covington and Newport are getting too expensive, and Ludlow gives me the path of least resistance to the highway. Any thoughts?
