The bar on comic book movies has officially been raised.
Move over, X-Men. Spiderman, get out of the way. The new Batman is here... and my God. Wow.
First off, the story isn't outlandish. Sure, it makes a few stretches, but by comic book standards it's pretty plausible.
The direction, though, is what wins Batman Begins my love. Joel Schumacher, you can eat a dick.
I'll post more tomorrow. In the meantime, see this movie. You may not thank me... but you'll never have to. :)
