miami, FL event (cross-posted)
Is anyone here planning on attending the event in Miami, FL on May 12th? On the website, it says the following:
TICKETS REQUIRED. You will receive one (1) ticket with the purchase of one (1) copy of Rant from Books & Books. Seating guaranteed until 7:15pm. His talk will be followed by an autographing. Only those books purchased on site or at Books & Books will be eligible for signing.
How strictly do you think they will follow those rules? When I saw Chuck about 2 years ago in Miami, tickets weren't required, they just got you seated a little earlier than non ticket holders and he also autographed whatever books you brought with you, they didn't need to be purchased on site.
I'd really like to go see Chuck again, but I already own all of his books (including Rant) and I'm a poor college student, so I can't exactly buy more of them just to get a ticket/autograph.
I'll probably call Books & Books tomorrow, but was just wondering if anyone else has already talked to them/heard anything. Thanks!
