Weekend pre-update

Well, went to Conclave this weekend and, guess what? I had a lot of fun for once. Got to play in the SWAT training game that was run by my buddy at Aegis, see the mighty Voltaire play in concert, not once, but twice, win a miniature's painting contest, and got hugged by many beautiful women. So, voltaire, nifty. Describe this Swat Game to me...

Well, we started with about 2 or 3 hours of training covering the basics of 'This is how to hold a gun. This is how to hold a gun steady. This is how to fire a gun on a plane without having to reaim. This is how to hold an SMG. This is how to clear a room. This is how to clear a room with a teammate. This is how to clear a room with another team...' After going through the motions of this, we tried two 'Simulated' terrorist situations where we had to move through the hotel and kill terrorists. The first time, I led and we had 50% casualities and killed all the terrorists with one incident of 'Oops' (Teamkill). The second time, someone else took the lead and we got wiped out with three teamkills (not in the group I was with, though; our team got wasted due to a lack of backup - go figure). Lots of fun, though.
