Hardly aberrations my friend.

I am part of a binational couple and I have to be separated from the person I love with all my heart for extended periods of time because I don't have the same civil rights any heterosexual American enjoys automatically. There is no choice for us. There is no paranoia involved. It is real and demeaning and course and strikes at the very core of my life and being as a human.

So you will have to excuse me if I don't feel for some pathetic closet case who has thrown his lot in with those who would deprive me and all other gay Americans of basic human rights. They have no concern for the collateral damage they do in forcing their religious agenda. I don't care about his reasons for outing this guy, I am just glad he did. Because up until now, Mary, it doesn't happen to all of us. It been decidedly one-sided. Gays get screwed and they get away with it. Time to dish some out in return.
