As usual, I've been meaning to post for awhile and haven't gotten around to it. Although there hasn't been too much out of the ordinary to talk about, except the Fourth of July. On my way home from the parents, I drove through my neighborhood down the main road, and I saw a group of three sandhill cranes, a huge yard party with a blow-up water slide, and a bunch of teenagers on a roof.
As usual I went out to take pictures of the extravagant neighborhood fireworks. The people...in front, I guess, of me, across the empty field (who own the Camaro and have an adorable little baby girl who wandered over to say hi once when I was leaving) were shooting up huge rockets right outside their back door, so I got lots of great shots. It started sprinkling after about half an hour, so I went back inside after not too long and watched the fireworks shows on television inside.
I've been playing some of my new computer games, though there's still quite a few I haven't touched (and quite a few I haven't downloaded, for that matter.) And I did get distracted replaying Tomb Raider (and now maybe Secret of the Tomb Raider and finishing the trilogy) and I'm thinking about Mass Effect again.
