Big Brother is watching....
Well, I have been informed that the "powers that be" in the government, specifically, people associated with Marine Corps Base Quantico, have somehow found my humble blog and read it. They were shocked, amazed and probably pretty damned mad at the things I wrote and continue to write. It shouldnt, but it amazes me that folks have nothing better to do with government time and resources than ferret out a blog fillied with my thoughts, observations, humor and good fiction. Apparently in addition to not being pleased at the contents, they hope to make some sort of an issue about it. Wake up, its call "FREEDOM OF SPEECH" and is covered by the first amendment. My opinions, thoughts and fantasies are just that MINE. The fact I may have ( and did) call many of the folks above me cocksuckers, bastards and worse simply means I have an opinion and choose to express it here, in a blog read by about a dozen people, not counting however many government employees are now either hooked or have been ordered to keep track of my subversive postings. While its true I may not have a large number of readers, it should outrage all the ones I do have that people with nothing better to do would spend their time poking around in what is basically a diary I share with friends. So far, I have not passed on any secret messages to terrorists, foreign or domestic from here and have no plans to do so in the future. Much of what you have read, Big Brother are my musings, some true facts, some wishful thinking and some outright fabrication for the entertainment of my audience. In addition to calling those above me names, I have wished for their demise sometimes, hoped they may contract incurable diseases occasionally and even posted such tidbits as things I would like to do to them. None of these actions has actually occured, excepting in my mind. And no matter how you try, you cant regulate what I think. In short, theres nothing to be gleaned from perusal of all this excepting a look at a man who, despite obstacles placed in his way by incompetant boobs, does the best he can to move forward. And if, along the way, he wants to express contempt for those boobs, its his right as a free born American citizen. If I have one regret about my blog, its that I tended to pour my heart out in it on many occasions. But thats one reason I started it. Its also comforting to hear from friends who read it. So to whomever was/is reading this, with all the ills facing the government today and all the problems associated with them, instead of peeking in here and scribbling notes, wouldnt your time and effort be better served elsewhere? I enjoy my job and always try and perform it to the best of my ability. All I ask in return is a living wage and benefits and to be left in peace. I somehow doubt the ability of my humble writings to bring about the end of western civilization and the downfall of the American way of life....
