(no subject)
Haven't been on of late. Not much new here, 'cept I shall once and for all (I hope) be off of shift work as of the end of this month. Just over five years of it is more than enough for me, thank you very much.
I'll be doing the 8-hour day thingy for a bit until I learn my new gig. After that, who knows?
I've been watching through the box set-first season of the old quirky cartoon The Tick lately. My brother mentioned that it was out on DVD. In this 'toon, various superheroes of all shapes and sizes protect The City. One episode had a bank getting robbed. Hearing the alarms, various would-be do-gooders sprang into action: Chameleon Crusader crawled down the side of a building towards the commotion; Deflator Mouse used Batman-esque gadgets to swing his way there; one fellow, high atop a skyscraper, called out: "This looks like a job for Captain Lemming!" at which point he turned and jumped off the building.
Ha!
(you could hear him whimper something, letting us caring viewers know he was okay...)
WoW-wise, my pally on my main server finally hit 60 a while back, my shammy on my #2 server is at 55, and I still have waaaay too many alts scattered amongst many, many servers. :P
