Victory! ^_^
Woo-hoo! And I shall say it again -- woo-hoo!
A co-worker, knowing of my penchant for different beers, told me of a place just across the river in Illinois that had 'some stuff for sale that I hadn't seen around here before' or something like that. Curious, I stopped by today. Oh...my.... The first beer I espied was none other that the Victory Brewing Company's flagship brew HopDevil!!! I didn't even approach the shelves for a good five minutes, gushing over the Victory beers in general and asking the shopkeeper whether or not he could possibly order any other Victory styles (especially, whether or not he could get his hands on some of their barleywine, Old Horizontal, my fave winter beer of the last few years)(he thought he could). I walked out of there with a number of different beers, which I shall try and (I hope) enjoy over the next few weeks.
Moving to Missouri as I had last year, I thought I had lost the chance to ever get Victory products again, as I felt sure that they would not be sold so far West. I'm glad I was wrong. :)
