So after about a year of waiting for parts, and working on the engine swap for one month, I gave the car on Sunday a quick start and hoped it would at least run.

Yes my fire nads, it runs finally! Of course, that doesn't guarantee that it will run to move 2500lbs of sheet metal and human.
I was only able to run it for at most 30 seconds, because I didn't have my radiator fans spliced into the ECU yet, but it ran, NO CELs, and only sputtered for about a bit and then idled fine. That should confirm my wiring handy work was sufficient, which is utterly satisfying (aside from the radiator fan wiring.
I'll be wiring up the fans and then shoving coolant and hopefully give the car a test drive this weekend!
