i had a bad dream
i woke up last night from a terrible nightmare. it begin in an instant, like someone turning on a tv. there was no warm up, no prelude that warmed up to a terrible end.
i opened my eyes and was at dodger stadium. i dont even really know if it's called that, or what it really looks like. a pitcher pitched, a hitter missed, and then an outfielder fell. he didn't get up. then a fan by third base fell, his head exploding in red. a snipper's shotgun could be heard the second a different fan would fall. it took about three more well spaced shots before people stood paralyzed in fear, crying in sorrow, and confused in a happy summer game that had become a death trap. and then the panic stepped in. people were trampled as they tried to escape en masse from the nightmare.
and then i woke up, upset at the idea of being trapped, and saddened that random shootings had hit people in an enclosed area, where there was literally no where to run. a massacre at a baseball game by one person that no one could find.
