the death of heath ledger...
...has really depressed me. i don't know if it's because he was so young, or because he's the second "good young actor" death in the past few weeks (brad renfro, btw), or because he appeared to have it together and not be a drug addict, or because he has a toddler daughter... i don't know why.
he made some good movies, and gave a great performance in "brokeback mountain." i was thrilled to see the footage of him as the joker in the next batman movie, and liked him in that bob dylan movie. i wonder where this puts the new terry gilliam movie- he's the lead in that.
god, that just sucks. i don't care about anybody famous dying, usually. this has really made me a little "blah" today. wonder what that's all about?
