Men in car robbed of money, soda cap
peoria - Two men were robbed at gunpoint when they pulled over to assist what they thought was a man in need of help.
The victims, ages 23 and 18, were driving in the 3500 block of Yorkshire Avenue about 11:40 p.m. Friday when they were flagged down by a man on the side of the road. The man went up to the passenger-side window, where he pulled out a gun and demanded that the victims empty their pockets.
He took an estimated $130, a key ring and a Mountain Dew bottle cap good for a free Mountain Dew, according to a police report.
"Hands off my dew !!!"
It wasn't enough to take the money but the robber also had to take the soda cap. That insensitive bastard :P
