Part 6: the wise men and War
So, on Humanity went in its very confused and awkward way. Some humans thought that they were all energy, cold and unfeeling, but poise and righteous, while others felt that they were all dirt, hot and selfish but compassionate and loving. While others just couldn’t give a rat ass about the whole mess and would much rather be dead. The Followers of dirt and the followers of energy argued and argued and soon they battled each other, and when the smoke cleared no one was sure were anyone stood anymore. So, those that thought they were all energy fought others that thought they were all energy and those that thought they were all dirt fought others that thought they were all dirt. While those that rather be dead used this as an example of how meaningless it all is. Until no one knew the difference between up and down but would never admit it because everyone was so sure that they were right and everybody else was wrong.
There were a few men and women that came along who figured it all out. We call these people wise men. The ones that figured it all out then kept it to themselves and didn’t share it with anyone and then some proceeded not to care about existence or others, referring to life as pain and suffering and giving advice as to extinguish it. Some were just driven insane by the knowledge that they had. While other knowledgeable men or women saw life as a beautiful and awesome thing, and cared for all others and wished to share their knowledge with as many people who wanted to listen. This latter type of wise man made the most impact on our culture and civilization for obvious reasons (you catch more flies with honey than vinegar). Some rather clever, selfish, misguided (sometimes well intentioned) men saw the positive messages and the inspiration that they installed in the hearts of men and were inspired themselves so they devised a system that would allow them to bring this message to everyone. They took the easiest path and decided that if they created deities that people simply give themselves to in servitude (made themselves slaves to the selfish and misguided) and then that deity would carry out the will of God(or the selfish and misguided’s own personal agenda). The system worked for the most part, these misguided selfish and clever people would then set themselves up as the deities prophet thus getting the servitude of others. Some less well intentioned individuals saw this system and the way it allowed for the prophet to control people and decided that they would set themselves up as prophets to make themselves kings or rulers. (I feel that I must explain that i feel Jesus wasn’t one of these well intentioned selfish clever people. On the contrary he was very much selfless and clever, i see him as trying to get rid of this system of religious slavery and then being misunderstood and then being used by the Roman emperor who saw a dying empire and a flourishing system of belief (religion) and decided to take this message and twist it to his own means.)
