Hm. I had an interesting night.
I went to work for Stilettos and Strap-Ons last night as their lighting tech and operator which was a success and hoot as usual. I called up my old friend Murdoch to help me out, he came and all was well! We caught up and had a blast up in the balcony during the show. As all Vancouverites know, there was a Canucks game, the Rolling Stones concert, and a half-foot of snow on the ground last night. IMPOSSIBLE to get a cab. M and I ended up walking for 45 minutes in the slush to his house (from Main to Commercial, good times) and I announced I would be crashing there. In his bed, for body warmth. Now, working a kinky-sex burlesque show, having a few beer, and spending the night in the same bed as an attractive boy in his boxers isn't something that happens to me every day.
What I especially appreciated was that he was respectful enough to not make a move. The spooning was good though, hah.
We are going to the Skatelites this Saturday... Jamaican ska all the way.
Also, going to Primus this Wednesday, and Bassnectar next Sunday in Victoria.
