Miles brought the buggy to a slow stop in front of the fortress, getting out and grabbing the bag Hojo insited they bring along before taking Hojo's arm and pulling him out through the driver's side. The taller man had insisted he sit in the front seat due to his severe motion sickness, but Edgeworth had also assumed it had something to do with the fact that the backseat was full of people who could really care less if Hojo were alive.

Miles really had no idea as to why he had come with the group--Cid had insisted the lawyer go in his place, since the 'young 'un' was sick and since 'that kidnapper don't like me too much'. He had managed to decode the rather poor english and had hesitantly agreed, but found that the buggy was rather easy to drive. He still had the pistol he'd taken from Hojo hours before, should the need to protect himself arise.

He looked over as the charming young blonde spoke up, then said, "Good idea, Mrs. Ashe." He shoved Hojo forward, pulling out the pistol and pressing it against his shoulder. Should the need arise, Miles wasn't sure if he really had what it took to pull the trigger, but hopefully his act was convincing enough to fool Hojo into listening.
