Just when he thought he understood things everything changed. He was aware, dimly speaking, that there were a variety of differences between the User world and the Grid. However, for all he knew bits and pieces, there was nothing in his databanks about what to when cold substances began to fall from the sky. It didn't seem to be affecting the structure of the domes that hovered over the city, and apart from causing a change in what the people in the streets were wearing it didn't seem to have had much an effect.

It was that last that was of the most interest to him. He could see that the clothes of those he saw had changed, and he was well aware that the temperature had changed, but it wasn't like that was a bother. It just meant that he had to devote fewer processes to maintaining an adequate core temperature. And unless Users were so poorly insulated as to need extra in cooler temperatures - a fact that he honestly doubted was true - it seemed that it would only serve to make them more prone to violently overheating.

But he wasn't to concerned as he once again turned his attention to what had fallen from the skies. What was it?
