Ed and Riku should have a Muns-are-evil Convention. chingdomkye May 1 2011, 14:09:21 UTC
It was easy to go from floor to floor when everyone else was opening doors for you. Vanitas now had the luxury of going from floor to floor as he pleased, stopped only by what hadn't been explored. Now what could I do if I get to a new floor first? There could be a lot of fun in that.

Along those lines, he'd never expected for the journals to be so enjoyable, either. He got to choose who he interacted with. There was even less consequence to his actions with the journals. Perhaps it would be time to lurk on them a bit more. Vanitas wondered how many castaways who ended up in the city used the journals, and who'd be most fun to mess with.

And speaking of which, a familiar face came into view. Vanitas stepped into his line of sight and turned. A smirk could be heard in his tone. "Hm. You looked taller in the picture."

Ed recognized that voice in an instant. He glared at the black figure in front of him, tightening his grip on his spear. "AT LEAST I HAVE A PICTURE!! YOU'RE FACE MUST BE PRETTY UGLY THAT YOU HAVE TO HIDE IT UNDER THAT HELMET!!"

This guy had just sounded like a jerk over the network, but now that Ed could see him, it became obvious that there was a lot more to him. He grounded himself, digging his feet into the ground and pointing his spear at the asshole. "What the hell do you want?"

The second to last sentence makes me snicker. Shame on me. chingdomkye May 6 2011, 04:28:54 UTC
Vanitas chuckled ominously. Insults were never effective against him. "So ugly you'd die of shock. But it'd be boring if you didn't last long enough to mess with."

The kid aimed a spear at him. A pathetic spear. This could be boring. "In general? Wouldn't you like to know. From you? I'm still trying to figure out if you'll amount to anything."

By his side, purple and blue flames materialized and gave way to an unusual-looking blunt-edged weapon. The wicked Keyblade looked to be made of gears, chains and flesh. Blue, slitted eyes stared intensely at the red-coated boy.

Sorry for the wait! None of my muses wanted to cooperate for a while... milkisgross May 7 2011, 03:15:35 UTC
Well, that was new. Still, Ed was getting used to seeing new things that didn't make much sense, though he still couldn't hide the surprise he felt when a weapon just materialized out of nowhere and into the jerk's hand.

Amount to anything? It looked like this guy was out for blood just because he could. Actually, it seemed like he might actually enjoy it. "I guess there's not talking sense into a maniac. Let's get this over with." It was obvious that this guy wasn't going to let him go, so why not make the first move? Ed charged at the black figure in front of him (like he did with...just about everyone). Hopefully, he could finish this quickly.

No prob, Vani is fickle, too! chingdomkye May 8 2011, 05:06:35 UTC
"Guess there's no sense talking to an idiot."

Vanitas simply stood there. In fact, he seemed frozen in place as Ed charged at him. And that image remained long enough for Ed to slash right through it.

"Too slow!"

The image Vanitas had left behind when had teleported finally vanished, and Vanitas reappeared right above the newcomer. Both Keyblade and wielder bore down on the blonde. If that wasn't enough, when he hit the ground, giant ice shards exploded from the soil, glowing ominously.
