"What...?" Seifer repeated. He had never seen anything like this creature before, and it was confusing the hell out of him. He frowned deeply in suspicision as the thing disappeared completely, and then turned to flash Larxene a 'wtf?' look before he suddenly felt a presence directly behind him.

"What an interesting weapon."

Seifer jerked back defensively at that, hand travelling to grasp the hilt of his gunblade cautiously as he looked back and forth between Larxene and the Cat. He didn't trust either of them, and he wasn't entirely sure that they weren't in on this together... whatever 'this' was.

After a short moment, Seifer decided not to wait for a reaction from either of them. "It's Hyperion," he spat unsurely at the Cat as he lifted the thing, not really sure of what else to say. He kept the weapon half-ready, defensively, obviously not wanting to use it if he didn't have to but willing if it came to that.

The man's eyes stayed focused mainly on the Cat, but darted between the two cautiously, just in case one or the other decided to try something funny. The blond had absolutely no idea what their intentions were, but he did know that nobody was going to pull one over on Seifer Almasy without getting seriously hurt in the process.

"Alright. This idiocy is really beginning to bother me," Larxene said to nobody in particular, looking at Cheshire quickly with an angered face. Sure, the sucker was pretty... er, weird, but then again so was everybody else in Paixao. Naminé had done a pretty good job with the place. She did feel like giving Cheshire a good slap in the face for his riddle-talk. This whole situation was making her rather angry.

Her hand flexed quickly before she finally let her yellow-and-blue daggers emerge from her leather gloves and let themselves settle between her knuckles. It wasn't too conspicuous, now was it? Just in case anything... unwanted happened.
