So this was the first time Wolf was going to actually meet the meerkat. He’s always been curious about Timon ever since he met him on the journals. However, one thing is for certain. Though Timon was an animal that Wolf would normally go after for food, this guy was different. Timon was nice to him and even helped him out at times. It really seemed that he would be a good friend to have. Wolf was surprised that Timon didn’t react horrified or scared at the fact that he accidentally summoned heartless. In fact, it seemed he was convinced it wasn’t Wolf’s fault that they came up during the incident with Zidane. Certainly, Wolf regretted telling Timon, but it was somewhat relieving to finally let it out to someone besides Scar ( ... )

He was waving… And smiling… Very widely. Timon tilted his head slightly to the side and arched a brow Wolf as he made his approach. Was he always this excited to meet people? Geez, this guy must have been lonelier than Pumbaa. He gave a small, unsure, wave in return, considering the likelihood of outrunning this guy. Timon’s smiled nervously. He had his doubts, but if he weaved through enough people, maybe he could lose him. Wolf’s didn’t look as though he could follow him through narrow spaces or break through anything he could climb behind. His tall stature made him look as though he could possibly even be clumsy during a chase. Hm. Maybe if he started now he could ( ... )

Yes actually, this was quite typical for Wolf, at least when he’s in a good mood. In this case though, Wolf was happy that he was meeting with a friend. Though, not exactly the clingy type per say, he’s merely the easily playful type. It wouldn’t be too hard to compare Wolf to a puppy at times.

Wolf smirked, “Grrrf, good thing we’re gettin’ food then.” He kneeled down a bit to get better look at Timon, man he really is short, looks like he’ll be looking down a lot at this guy. Unless he like picks him up, but he has a feeling Timon might freak out, just a bit. Wolf chuckled, “Comes with being part human I guess. So does that mean I might have to slow down for you? Y’know, since I got longer legs.”

Timon scoffed, appearing almost insulted by Wolf’s concern. Him, slow? Yes, horribly true but he was hardly about to admit that. Not to Wolf. And asking him to carry him was completely out of the question. He carried himself on his own two feet. Usually… And depending on the company. Besides, it made him sound weak, incapable of hold his own. And that was anything but him. He hurriedly began to walk in the direction of the restaurant, nose held high in the air with pride. Though, Wolf would have no trouble keeping up to him, even at a faster pace. It was, after, all he had said: he had longer legs.

“You just worry about keeping up.” The meerkat replied, not bothering so much as to look back at the Wolf as he led the way. “I’m travelling on an empty stomach. I don’t want to have to slow down and wait for you. Speaking of which, have you ever been to this place before, Haja’s?”

Wolf let Timon walk ahead of him, as he put his hands in his pockets. He thought that would be the case. Keeping a steady pace behind the meerkat, Wolf knew this guy would be fun to tease at times. Though he’ll keep the whole food chain jokes at bay for now. Figuring that there were enough lions to mock him with that.

Once asking about the place, Wolf nodded, “Oh Haja o Que Houver is a great place to eat when you’re hungry,” grinning he started to remember some of the food he ate there, “They have some delicious rare meat, of course that’s mostly what I ate while I was there. I can’t recall if I ate anything else besides that.”

Thinking for a minute or so, Wolf did managed to think of something beside the food as he snapped his finger at the thought, “Oh! The music they played there was pretty good too!” he recalled, remembering some of the lively music and activity they had there.
