Predators in the Mist [active]
Character: Marluxia and Saix
Content: REMATCH
Setting: East Side of Paixao
Time: Late Evening
Warnings: Violence/Org Members fighting.
While he had originally elected to stay in this particular area of the city in order to keep an eye on his wayward puppet, Marluxia had come to find further use to it, primarily in the nature of the gypsies that lived there. They were by no means the perfect people to hide amongst, and indeed he seemed to stick out from them more often than not--though that in itself wasn't too difficult considering the plethora of blue-eyed blonds that made up the citizenry--but it was workable. Like all of the citizens, they tended to walk on eggshells around him, but unlike many of the others, he could use their dislike of the mayor to his own advantage. What was he, after all, but a man with the simple goal of destroying that which helped to put the man in place? A carefully placed word here and there and he imagined he could be kept better hidden on the inside.
Outside these buildings, however, was another matter entirely. But the mist--the mist that had been the cause of his problems to begin with--was out and he was lucky enough to not have the heart to be affected by it. A cover, then. Even liabilities could be of use from time to time.
