Large blue eyes opened with sudden surprise, as though she’d been in a dream and had been shocked awake by something within it. That wouldn’t be the first time something as such would have happened to her, but still the little girl found herself setting palms flat to the ground, using them to brace herself and ease her body up onto her feet. Taking a moment to brush herself off while muttering something about Lorina just leaving her off to doze in the fields again, Alice slowly realized that the ground she stood upon was not made of grass and dirt.

Slowly turning her body to look around her new found surroundings, she touched her finger to her chin and soon found herself looking over what appeared to be a sort of arc made of rather pretty and yet solid, never melting ice, melded together in a silver glimmering formation to create an entrance way into a strange looking city.

“Oh, not again,” She whispered to herself. Why were her dreams always ever so vivid? Her imagination truly did love to play tricks on her, didn’t it?

Taking a moment to tell herself that it was a dream, another dream that is, Alice then took a skeptical step closer to the pretty looking entrance and raised her brows to a funny looking man who was suddenly ushering her into a line that, up until this moment she hadn’t even noticed. Wasn’t that somewhat curious a thing to miss? She was about to tell him that he needn’t be so rude and that she would get in queue properly if he would just give her a moment to figure out where she was, when she felt him push her into the line and then simply buggered off!

Stomping her foot with slight irritation, Alice set her hands to her hips and glared in the direction that he’d went. “Well, I never!”

Then again, she had. This was the terse attitude of Wonderland all over again. “Oh this better not be some other courtyard of that wicked woman’s, I don’t think I could handle it again.”

With a huffy attitude herself, she waited in the line, queuing like a proper lady would until it was her turn to approach the beautiful gates. Lifting her head, tilting it back to look above at the ice, she felt herself smile. “At least that’s rather beautiful, isn’t it?” Lowering her gaze she noted the same man from before and lifted a hand, index finger raised. “Oh it’s you again. Listen you, I am not the type of lady who much appreciates when she’s-”

But he cut her off. His rudeness simply irritated her all the more, why couldn’t he just let her talk for a half of a second at least! Folding her arms over her chest, she pretended to listen to him as he told her something about the city, which at this time fell upon deaf ears as she was having none of it. If he would not listen to her, why would she listen to him? It wasn’t until he offered her a strange looking trinket that she attempted to hear what he had to say only to realize that he was finished talking.

“Oh, but I don’t understand what I’m to use this thing f-” She let out a gasp as someone behind her pressed their palms to her back and shoved her through the entrance and into the city. Again, stomping her foot but now clutching the device she’d been given in her hands, she huffed to herself.

“Always in a rush, these creatures and people are. Always in a rush! Doesn’t anyone want to talk anymore? Oh now what have I gotten into?”
