Remus Lupin did not expect to find himself where he currently was. His last memory was when he retreated towards the library in Hogwarts in attempt to get away from Severus, who apparently had too much fun harassing him about his…secret. When he opened the door however, it wasn’t the library.
Remus had walked into what seemed to be another world. He turned around to go back, but the door behind him had vanished! Instead, the only thing he could see was a beach. He turned back around to see what had been in front of him, and he saw a massive gate in which people could enter an even more massive dome. There was no telling how big it was, but it was certainly big enough to fit the entire school Hogwarts inside. Hesitating, Remus cautiously walked towards it, leaving his school books on the ground and reaching for his wand in his pocket.
As he approached the dome, he could see a line of people waiting to get inside. Still not sure of what was going on, Remus kept his wand in his hand, though he dropped his guard a bit. There didn’t seem to be any danger around, though looks can be deceiving. Attending a school for wizards had taught him that. Still, if Remus entered the city, he might find some information and get back to Hogwarts. He did have a potions exam today.
The line was moving quite fast, so it didn’t take Remus too long to get to the front. He was about to ask the plain-looking man with blond hair and blue eyes a question, but he was interrupted with, “Welcome to Paixao.” Pamphlets and a strange plastic devise were shoved in his hands, and he almost dropped his wand. Before he could recover himself, he was pushed inside the city.
“Paixao?” That name definitely didn’t ring any bells. He looked around, but wasn’t sure what to do or where to go. All he knew was that he was lost, and that he would probably miss his potions exam later that afternoon…
