"Where's that daggone train?!" The former duck shouted. Patience had never been one of his strong points; this he made quite obvious. "We've been waiting for ages!"
"Now, now, Donald, I'm sure it'll be here soon," Goofy said...for the sixth...eight? time. Truth be told, he was getting very impatient as well. It was freezing out side, with alternating periods of rain and sleet. Luckily, the trio had managed to find some shelter at the train station, although this didn't protect them from chilly winds.
Goofy turned to Rinoa. He had no idea what the teenaged girl was thinking, and it bothered him a bit. He couldn't tell if Donald's antics were annoying her, or if she was just content with waiting. So far, she hadn't complained that much, but Goofy still felt it necessary to make sure she was comfortable.
Just as he opened his mouth to suggest leaving and coming back later, they heard a deafening sound. It sounded like something was rushing at them at breakneck speed, something dangerously large.
"What on earth was that?! Donald sqwaked. Goofy started to respond. "I've got no ide-" There it was again! They all turned their heads down the towards the tracks. "A-ha!" Goofy concluded. "The train's here!"
