Ariel hadn't planned on getting caught out in the rain, but she could hardly let such an inconsequential thing as a thunderstorm dampen her adventuring! There was still so much to see! Ariel also hadn't planned on wandering as far as the Vanaheim gate, but that was to be expected, since she very rarely used the map. That took the fun out of everything!

Ariel very quickly grew bored of the "citizens" of Paixao. They all had a creepy way of looking and speaking almost exactly alike, and none of them ever had any clues to share or mysteries to solve. Because of this, Ariel had developed a keen eye for those that definitely did not appear to "belong" in Paixao.

That was when she'd noticed Naveen, struggling with his new journal and pamphlets and picked up her skirts and rushed over to him, not stopping to think that maybe the smaller creature might be intimidated by a fastly approaching human.

"Hey, you doing alright?" she asked Naveen, motioning to his journal device and crouching down so she didn't feel like she was towering over him. She had just enough tact not to injure someone's pride on first meeting... usually.

Naveen stopped his rather pointless struggle with the journal and looked up at the girl who addressed him. She seemed nothing like the rest of the citizens, who were blindly going about their day. Despite being here for only a few minutes, Naveen had picked up on the wrongness of this right away. It would be hard not too, to be honest.

"I seem to be having trouble with this... whatever this thing is," He replied, hoping the young lady would offer to help.
