It was eerie, waking up in a hospital now, instead of the cell she had been trapped in. She closed her eyes again, aking a deep breath, glad that she didn't have the hood she had been forced to wear covering her eyes and stifling her breathing. Although, she didn't know where she was exactly, but the words "Paixao" and "Hospital" stuck out in her mind from when she had been carried inside by the guards near where she had woken up.
What was throwing her off now was the silence. Opening her eyes again, she took in the details of her room, realizing that it was much more...worn down...and different from the hospitals she was used to in DC. There didn't seem to be a huge hustle and bustle outside the doorway, the hallway was almost completely silent. She wasn't a fan of this place already.
She sat up in her bed, and looked around again, eyes resting on her things sitting in a corner, or what few things she had with her, mostly the clothes she had been wearing during her imprisonment. Ignoring her body, she pulled the IV out of her arm, and got out of bed, slowly making her way over to the pile of belongings and changing into them, mostly for modesty because she planned on changing into something else...as soon as she found it. She grabbed a small bag that had been set there too, a note with her name on it, probably from the guards that had helped her before.
After checking the hallways, Ziva slowly moved out of her room and down the hallway, looking for a nurses station that could be empty. And she was in lucky, finding a station and what she was looking for: a somewhat clean uniform. Ducking behind some doors, she slipped that on, discarding her prisoner clothing and pulling her hair back from her face.
As she walked along the hallways towards the door, she began thinking that this was just a bit too easy, but ignored the feeling as she reached the door out to the outside world. Pushing it open, she straightened up, ignoring all pain in her body and walked out, looking like just another person in the world.
She'd look in the bag later and figure out what was going on. For now, she needed away from there, and someplace where she could heal on her own.
