Dad was cooking breakfast again. Leslie rolled over in her bed to look at her clock. If she had slept in late enough for Dad to be up and about, she was being very lazy indeed.

Reality hit, as it did every morning, when Leslie opened her eyes. She still wasn't home...

Make each day the best you can, she reminded herself. And so, smile on her face, she threw the blankets off and headed down to the kitchen to plop down at the table next to Yuuko. She had grown accustomed to the witch's drinking habits by now, much to Harry's dismay. There were some things in people you just couldn't change. Leslie wondered if Yuuko's kidneys were under as much stress as her uncle Ted's...

"Good morning," she greeted them all, smiling wide. It was refreshing to find Harry cooking instead of Aerith. By all means, Leslie loved Aerith's cooking, but there were some mornings that a little change in routine was welcome. By the looks of it, Aerith was going to jump in and help anyways, which only made it clear that Leslie would be receiving a spectacular breakfast indeed.
