It had taken a little...force...to get passed the gate but she'd managed it and was now walking over to the group. She spotted Harry easily enough but stopped a little short when she saw the skeleton man, her eyes widening for a second. She figured since Harry wasn't trying to set it on fire or blow it away that it wasn't a threat...but it was still really jarring (and Karrin had seen a lot of crazy shit in her time too). Karrin finally pulled herself together and joined the group proper, still looking a little wary of the bony figure...before she realized there was a kid there too.
Karrin elbowed Harry in the side and gave him a, 'what kind of ragtag group of people is this?' look.

Pacing around the feet of those present, the familiar looking rodent bit into the apple he had been carrying. It was no surprise that he among all ‘people’ to come on this little expedition would bring a snack apposed to a well sharpened blade. He had never been a fighter, and his small stature made certain of that, but that by no means meant he could not attribute to the group. If times called for it, he could sing to fill any awkward gaps and pass time during any long periods of walking. Not that this particular adventure would call for that, but the contribution was there.
“Just how many people are we expecting, anyway?” Timon asked, tapping his foot impatiently while he took another bite of his apple. Pieces flew from his mouth as he continued to speak. If it were not obvious enough, he was not a morning person. The only reason he would get up anything earlier than afternoon was for buisness or because of Simba who simply refused to let the meerkat sleep in. He lazily combed the fur at the top of his head down which in many ways defined the term 'bed head'. “If we end up having to wait till afternoon for ‘em someone had better of packed a lunch otherwise I’ll starve.”

Sephiroth had other ideas as to the meerkat's usefulness, but he wasn't going to mention them just now. There were two people present with whom he was not familiar, but that was to be expected; he had been busy enough with other matters over the past month that he had not managed to meet in person many of the newest recruits. He trusted Death and Laharl's judgment, though; if they were here, they were capable.

So far, she wasn't particularly impressed. So when she'd heard of the plans, she rather naturally had decided she may as well go along. If nothing else it would give her an idea of what to expect. Nor was she coming unarmed. She might not have the weaponry her grandfather had, but she'd picked up one of the pokers from the room she was staying at before she'd left.
Unorthodox, yes, but it ought to still work as it had back on the Disc. And if it not it would still make a rather handy bludgeon. Time to see what her Grandfather had been talking about.

So they were to assault the enemy on their own grounds? He honestly didn't have high hopes for the endeavor, but he had no intentions of voicing these concerns at the moment. They could wait until everyone that was to come had come. He didn't have any intentions of repeating himself, either.
The ex-guardian shifted the sword on his shoulder and shoved his sunglasses a little further up his nose, looking for any newcomers.

Well, he'd focus where he could. That was all he could promise.
But, upon approaching the small congregation, Tanaka was met with something else a bit unnerving. Some of these people were... odd. An animal. A young boy. A skeleton. And that was to say nothing of the spirits of some of these people, even those who looked odd.
But if there was something he'd found over these years, he told himself, it was that appearance had no bearing on the ability of an individual. It didn't matter how very abnormal things appeared, what mattered was the goal. So he kept his expression (relatively) neutral as he arrived, and greeted them with his low bow.

He looked around the group, nodding at Harry and Sephiroth, his co-conspirators. IS THIS EVERYONE? he inquired. IF SO, WE SHOULD BEGIN. IT'S A SHORT WALK - this was directed at Timon - SO STARVING SHOULD BE THE LEAST OF YOUR WORRIES.
[Remember, no posting order - Angeal, Aerith, hop in whenever~]

Sephiroth, for all his efforts, could not see the building of whose existence Death had informed him. Doubtless he and Harry had devised some method of rendering it visible, but even so, he felt a measure of... it wasn't uneasiness, and it wasn't fear, but there was a bad feeling about this whole affair. He'd feel a lot better when he was able to see whatever the hell they were about to barge into.

Seeing a group of people gathered by the Joutenheim gate, the winged man calmly walked over with a nod. Some of the people he'd seen around, most he hadn't. Sephiroth and the meerkat might've been the only ones, in his honesty.
"Sorry." He said simply to the group. He didn't need an explaination; it wasn't important, and they'd only be delayed in their mission. "Where're we going?"

She walked up behind Angeal, smiling at the group. "That's a good question," she agreed. "Where are we going?"

THERE. Death pointed one long finger in the direction of the building. THERE IS A BUILDING CONCEALED, LIKELY BY MAGIC, NOT TOO FAR IN THAT DIRECTION. No more than two miles, he'd guess. WE HAVE REASON TO BELIEVE IT IS WHERE THE ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN CONDUCTING THEIR EXPERIMENTS. OUR MISSION TODAY IS TO ENTER THE BUILDING, OBTAIN INFORMATION, AND FREE ANY PRISONERS.
After a pause, he added, I WOULD NOT MIND SEEING IT BECOME RUBBLE.
THE PLACE IS GUARDED BY NOBODIES, he continued with a warning. THE LESSER ONES ARE EASILY DEFEATED, BUT DO NOT BE SURPRISED IF THERE ARE MORE. That said, he began walking in the direction of the building. Why waste time?

"I doubt they would let such a place fall so easily," he added before following after Death. He saw just as little reason to wait as Death did.

With the exception of Timon, who Harry had already met, the rest of the group didn't seem too strange. At the very least they all appeared human, though Harry knew better than anyone that such looks could be deceiving.
Nodding to Aerith with a smile, Harry made a mental note to keep track of the healer. He couldn't forgive himself if she got hurt, and given his own propensity to soak up damage, he'd likely need her help.
"Right, defeat the monsters, navigate the dungeon, rescue the princess, and property damage is encouraged. What could possibly go wrong," he asked in a tone that said he could imagine several things already.
Turning to Murphy, he gestured gentlemanly and said, "Ladies first."

By the time the rest of the group had arrived Timon had just finished eating. Surprisingly he had taken things slow, but as a result he appeared to be in a far better mood. He threw the apple core carelessly to the side and spat out its seeds before clapping his paws together excitedly. “Alright, let’s get down to business!” he said to no one in particular, looking between his cohorts before tuning in to Death’s instruction.
Following his lead, the meerkat started in the direction of the said Organization hideaway. The subject brought about a lot in his mind, not to mention the mission itself, but being outside seemed to bring even more. The last time he’d escaped the city had been with Larxene, and as one could easily guess, the experience was not one he enjoyed. This time, however, was different. With no building in sight the walk ahead of them looked as though it would be a long one, regardless of what Death had said. As far as he was concerned that left plenty of time for him to take in the experience.
Falling onto all fours, Timon happily trotted through the grass behind Auron. “Well,” he began, deciding to reply to the warrior’s comment jokingly. “Not unless they’ve got some good property insurance on their hands. If they’re gunna be reimbursed everything I can’t see ‘em being too worried.”

Thankfully she didn't have to wait long for all the members of their little group to gather and thankfully the talking rodent and skeleton were the worst of it. She had to focus though and pushed the weirdness, as she always did, to the back of her mind. Listening to the instructions she glanced over in the direction Death had indicated, she couldn't see anything but she knew all too well about magical concealments and figured if they were going this far that one of the geniuses here had figured out a way past that.
She rolled her eyes at Harry, "Don't jinx us before we even get there."
Karrin thought over Death's warning and decided to ask, since it would be pretty important, "Just to clarify, bullets can hurt these things, right?"

Not even bothering with introductions - a waste of time, in his opinion - the winged SOLDIER calmly followed the group into the assault, making sure to wtach his back, and the backs of his comrades. Nobody was going to die here if he could help it. These 'Nobodies' would be dispatched as soon as they'd reared their ugly faces.
With a small smirk, he added. "Just make sure to have fun, kids."
