He had the boy in the palm of his hand. Repliku wanted to become real, and Marluxia had offered him a way to do so, though whether or not it would actually do anything Marluxia neither knew nor cared. All that mattered was that he now had a useful tool with even more useful information. The replica hadn't a clue what he had done for him.
But the deal was still shaky at best. Repliku's stubbornness, how skeptical he was, the Nobody wanted to be sure that Repliku wouldn't go back on his deal. He needed a loyal knight, not an obstinate, fair-weather soldier. He would have to make sure the boy knew exactly what he would be giving up should he attempt to go against him.
And, of course, Marluxia made sure of it. The boy was a fake who might as well resign himself to the darkness should he continue on as he was. Every minute of his existence was fabricated, every fiber of him artificial. Repliku could continue on as such if he wanted, but wouldn't he rather have something more? Marluxia could take away his deal whenever he wanted, could leave the replica to his fate, but instead he was offering him something better. Repliku didn't want to ruin it, did he? He didn't want to toss away that chance, did he? He wanted to be a real boy.
Of course he did. And now that he knew what would happen, he wouldn't dare disobey.
Essentially, it was the same as before, but now that the boy was more receptive to what Marluxia had to offer, he would be sure to remember it.
It was best that Repliku didn't get to close to Sora. They were rivals, weren't they? Why let the Keyblade Master in on such delicate information? He might take care of everything first. The same could be said if the one the replica was based on was around. Why would he want to give the real thing an edge on him? Wasn't surpassing him and Sora the point of it all?
He could trust Namine. He was her protector. But if he didn't want to worry her, he wouldn't tell her of his intentions, either. The only ones who were to know of Repliku's goal were Repliku and himself.
With that point driven home, the Graceful Assassin sent the boy back to his cage, wishing him luck in his next session.
