Karst left the two of them to their discussion. She had more troublesome things on her mind.

For one, she hadn't failed to overhear gossip that some areas in Paixao had simply... vanished. Auntie Unde's General Store had been in one of them. She'd liked that shop. A little absurd at times, but reliable. Now she was going to have to find someplace else to get her things.

The other thing... well, it was one of those things you didn't talk about with strangers. But for the last several blocks, she'd kept seeing something that simultaneously thrilled her, upset her, and ultimately, annoyed her when she realized it was just a trick of the light and her own imagination. A flicker of blonde hair paler than that of any Paixaoan, the fleeting swish of a red-and-white skirt.

Not worth the trouble. Instead, Karst focused on her journal, flicking through entries and stopping here and there to peruse one. Some people were hard at work setting up an eatery near Niflheim Gate, though of course it wasn't quite open yet; she'd have to try it at some point. Ivan was still looking for his creatures-

"Sin's dead," she read from the journal, then smirked. "Apparently some guy on the journals hasn't heard about the money system yet and is trying to get a reward for it. Good luck to him."
