Character(s): Rozalin and anyone else?
Content: Rozalin arrives as the gate, but is not herself. (More like
this.)
Setting: Joutenheim Gate
Time: Late Night
Warnings: D2 Spoiler and Rozy is HIGHLY DANGEROUS right now. FYI XD;
Confusion was the first thing that hit her, as she found herself on the ground. Slowly she rose, floating into the air as energy surrounded her. This... was not where she been. Had she been summoned?
Where is everyone?
Alone. She just wanted to be left alone!
I'm alone?
Someone had to have summoned her here. The fool would pay for this disturbance!
The stray thoughts were silenced as she turned her red eyes turned to the gate that loomed before her through the darkness of the night. The near full moon in the sky gave off only just enough light to show the sillouette of the structure. She could sense someone was there.
The gate guard sat in his booth, unawares of the approaching figure.
"Are you my enemy?"
The voice made him jump a mile. "Sorry, didn't see you there!" He spluttered, clumsily grabbing a journal, accidently turning it on, while grabbing a pen. "Name plea--"
The guard cut off as he looked up to see the women floating before him. Dark energy swirled around her as she fixed her glowing gaze upon him. He jumped to his feet, backing back from the counter of the booth.
"I am a being of solitude. Eternal nothingness will come to those who linger."
The guard didn't need to be told twice. "N-Nevermind!" he spluttered, before he fled the gate at top speed, running for his life, leaving the overlord to float there. She sensed no real power from the fleeing guard. They were likely not the one responsible for her summoning. Who was?
Or could it be she was sent here? The fool had been eliminated, there was no questioning that. Who else could it have been? One of those others?
Betrayed once more? Did they really betray her? They couldn't have, could they? He wouldn't... Always betrayed. Used and betrayed. No one could be trusted.
Alone. She desired to be alone. I am alone...
The gate and journal were left behind as she floated through the gate. Someone was responsible for this, and she would find them.
