Character(s): Vincent Valentine and Yaten Kou
Content: Vincent decides to spend the night in Yaten's hotel room. Yaten's tell's Vincent he's a she. They both feel bad. Vinny a bit OOC. Yeah well...love makes you do strange things.
Setting: Acura Are.
Time: Late Tuesday Night.
Warnings: Lots of cute! Mild Homosexuality, but Yaten's really a girl. :D
not a experiment (12:22:08 AM): Twenty minutes passed since Vincent's last message. The wind was blowing pretty strong which could have been why the window in Yaten's room had blown open. Except a moment later a dark figure clad in red landed softly after flying in through the window. With the wind rippling his cape and mass of black hair Vincent shut the window, and turned back to Yaten. "Good evening," he said stoically.
Kamereon Toiki (12:23:55 AM): Yaten paused, jumping. "...Hi, there," Yaten replied, beaming. He'd been singing, actually. It was really a pity that the window had blown open and startled him. The white-haired psuedo-boy wandered over to the window and closed it nonchalantly. "Now, I said I was going to show you my transformed state, didn't I?" Yaten asked, heading over to the door to make sure it was locked.
not a experiment (12:26:06 AM): He blinked a few times. Apparantly, it was all about buisness. So Vincent nodded, leaning against the nearest wall, crossing his arms. "I believe you did," he said. It was quite awkward but Vincent didn't say anything. Only he wondered how it must be for Yaten to live as a male when he really is a she. Forgetting the thought, he watched with interest.
Kamereon Toiki (12:29:25 AM): Yaten was appearantly satisfied with what security the room offered, and pulled the brooch he used to transform out of his pocket, holding it at chest level. The microphone that also appeared as part of his transformation sequence formed as he said, not loudly, but forcefully, "Healer Star Power, MAKE UP!" Within a few moments, he was a she- and in a very skimpy outfit that left nothing to the imagination, as far as gender went. "See? Female." Healer folded her arms over her chest, flopping down on the bed.
not a experiment (12:32:15 AM): More blinking. That was...odd. Vincent usually just got angry and lost control. Then his body erupted into fire and the demon tore itself out of his body. But that was a nifty transformation too. "I see," he was sort of taken aback by the sheer...skimpyness. It seems like no one uses any kind of sharp weapons or guns in their fights. "You wear that...in battles?" He looked at his own clothes, which were strong enough to take a pretty good beating.
Kamereon Toiki (12:39:18 AM): "...Yeah. It's not like I have much choice. By Earth reckoning, I've been fighting in this for six years," Healer said. "It's not so much about weapons as the powers I have in this form. I'm what's called a Sailor Senshi. I'm called this because..." Healer tapped her brooch, the cover coming off of it. She gestured to the odd... crystal held in the lower part. She tapped the brooch again, causing the cover to vanish. "...I have a Sailor Crystal, a special kind of Star Seed that shines on forever. Most people have a regular Star Seed, which is black and opaque."
not a experiment (12:41:28 AM): ...And Vincent was lost. But he pretended to understand, as he didn't want to do anything to upset Yaten again. He moved slightly closer to the girl, almost towering over her as she sat. Leaning a little bit he looked at the Crystal. "Does that make you stronger?" He asked, puttig his hand out to touch it.
Kamereon Toiki (12:44:03 AM): Healer put a protective hand over her brooch. "It's what makes me more than just a regular person of Kinmokusei," she said. "Without a Star Seed, a person would either turn into a Phage, or, in the case of Sailor Senshi, disappear." She scowled. "Most people don't carry theirs in objects like Fighter, Maker, and I do. We only have ours in our brooches so they're harder to steal. That's what the Sailor Wars were all about. Sailor Galaxia wanted every Sailor Crystal in the galaxy..." Her hand tightened around the brooch.
not a experiment (12:46:12 AM): Quickly retracting his hand, he bowed slightly. "I'm very sorry, I didn't know," yes he apologized again. Then he noticed he was a little too close to the "Sailor" and took a few steps back to sit in a chair. "You keep mentioning Sailors...you don't mean people who sail on a ship do you?" Odd question, but hey, it had to be asked.
Kamereon Toiki (12:48:38 AM): "Nope. I don't know quite why we're called that, exactly..." Healer grinned, amused. "Anyway, in this form, I'm called Sailor Star Healer." She smiled a little. "And it's okay, you didn't know." The senshi then frowned, propping her elbows on her knees and putting her head in her hands, glaring at the floor. Why am I so... gods. It's just like Fighter and that stupid blonde in our class. I'm better than this, I know I am.
not a experiment (12:54:23 AM): He nodded. Ok, not seamen. ...Moving on. Good, he didn't offend her, sighing silently, Vincent lookaed around the room. Much better than the cockroach infested room he had before. "So, what is your real name? Yaten or Sailor Star Healer?" He was confused. What was he supposed to call her? Then she put her head down in what seemed like unhappiness or some similar emotion. Putting his hand on her chin, he lightly lifted up her chin. "What's the matter?"
Kamereon Toiki (12:58:59 AM): Healer made a face, pulling away. She glared at her own hands, edging away from Vincent. "Nothing," she said. "It's not your problem, anyway, it's mine." She was not going to say that she felt like she was betraying her princess, no way in hell. "Neither, as far as names go. Yaten's a disguise name, and I'm generally just called Healer in this form. My original name is... It doesn't translate well, and I don't like it being applied to either form."
not a experiment (1:06:53 AM): ..You screwed up again Vincent. WAY TO GO. As she pulled away sharply Vincent pulled his own hand away, obviously touching a subject she wasn't happy talking about. she was right. Vincent had more than enough problems to deal with. Why go making more trouble for yourself. "...I want to show you something.." Vincent rose to his feet, taking off his cape which included his facemask. Dropping that on the chair, he undid the buttons on his upper torso, revealing his chest. Unlike the rest of his pure skin his chest was the result of hundreds of twisted experiments by the hands of Hojo. It was disturbing to even look at. "I..was an experiment. He did this to me," he almost showed the claw, and the red of his eyes. "There are beasts living in me. Things so horrible, so vile, that one day might take over my entire body." It was hard to talk about such things, but Vincent did. People just do crazy things it seems.
Kamereon Toiki (1:13:32 AM): Healer stared, her eyebrows knitting in confusion. "...Experiments?" She asked, eyes going wide. "..." Her gloved hands gripped the blanket, features rearranging themselves in a scowl. "Who's... 'he'?" Because, right now? Healer really wanted to go up to him and give him an Inferno. Right to the face. Red flags of anger appeared on Healer's face. "That's sick," Healer growled, her hands shaking with the grip she had on the blankets. Her empathy picked up on Vincent's emotional state, and, despite the way she felt about matters of this nature, she got off the bed and went over to hug Vincent. "...I like you," she said after a moment, voice soft. "Scars and all, but... Well," she didn't know how to phrase it... "My heart belongs to my princess first, and it feels like I'm... I'm, I don't know, turning my back on her if I... indulge myself that way without her saying I can, first..."
not a experiment (1:20:41 AM): Vincent, with his shirt still off, looked down at the girl that was hugging him. Beneath the mass of scars and gashes a pain shot through his heart, probably the same exact way she was feeling. Even if Lucrecia was dead, Vincent loved her with all of his heart. But this whole thing was new to him. Another person was hugging him and telling him she liked him. It was odd for the Ex-Turk. Should he stop these feelings, or allow it to play out. Unable to find a true answer Vincent wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close to him, so that her head rested on her chest. "Don't worry. Atleast we're not alone in this strange place." Vincent held her close for sometime, and was at a loss of words.
Kamereon Toiki (1:26:49 AM): So was Healer. She nodded a little. "I don't like seeing people hurt," she muttered. "And I'm not just talking about empathy, either." She made a face. That she could feel Vincent's emotions as if they were her own already told her just how far gone she was in that respect. I need to find Kakyuu-Ouhi, she thought. ...I want to ask her if this... if it's alright.
not a experiment (1:32:20 AM): After a while, Vincent let her go, afriad that he might do something he would regret later. Better to take it slow and work it in small parts. Vincent could sense that even though her heart belonged to her princess, it was something...almost heavenly. But it didn't seem like she was going to find her princess anytime soon. Or hell, he was probably completely wrong. It hurt his heart to push a girl away like that but it was for the better. Just to show he wasn't completely pushing her out of his life, he held onto her hand gently. "I think we should go to sleep, and figure out what we're going to do in this city tomorrow," good job, change the subject!
Kamereon Toiki (1:34:47 AM): Healer nodded, changing forms back without much show at all. "It burns energy to stay in that form, anyway," he said, putting the brooch in his pocket. He then noticed a problem with that plan. "...But, uh... There's only one bed." Blink, blink. ...Yeah.
not a experiment (1:39:03 AM): In reality, Vincent knew Yaten was a girl. And knew his manners. "I know. I'll sleep in that chair," Vincent pointed out the most uncomfortable looking chair ever made. Wait. He looked from the chair back to the normally clad figure of a boy who was a girl, and looked like a girl. And was still holding his hand. Then he thought of something he heard. "Love conquers all." Such things as gender was easily over come. Pulling his upper clothes all the way off as they had just been hanging, and kicking off his shoes, Vincent went to the bed and pulled back the covers for Yaten. "Go ahead. You proabably had a long day." Well, they both did, but yeah.
Kamereon Toiki (1:41:27 AM): Yaten made a face. "Nuh-uh." He was not going for that. "And probably not near as long a day as you did. I sat around here all day." He made a face at Vincent. "If anyone's getting the bed, it's you." Stubborn? Yaten? Oh, never. He made a face, glaring slightly at Vincent.
not a experiment (1:43:32 AM): Vincent shook his head, sighing. "Let's make a deal. We share the bed. I'll sleep above the covers and you can sleep in them," he said. Apparantly Vincent had a lot of boy sleep over his house as a child. Even though he was glared at he could only manage a smile.
Kamereon Toiki (1:44:57 AM): Yaten made a face. "Sure you're not gonna get cold?" he asked, tilting his head. "'cause, in case you don't know about empathy the way I have it, I'd know." Okay, so he wouldn't really, but he didn't want Vincent to be cold. D'aww.
not a experiment (1:46:51 AM): Vincent nodded, smiling. "You like the word empathy a lot, don't you? With that he laid on the bed on his side, with his arms under his head. Yeah it was cold, and soon his chest could easily be seen with goosebumps.
Kamereon Toiki (1:50:24 AM): "...It's not a word, it's an ability. And sometimes it can be an annoying one. Like when Seiya's being all..." Yaten made a vauge motion with his hands, "Over American football. Or when Taiki's stressing. Most people, I just... kinda know how they're feeling. A few people... I feel what they feel." Yaten made yet another face. "...Let me tell you, it's not fun to be me when Seiya gets sacked in football." Lookit that cute pout!
not a experiment (1:55:43 AM): "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know." Of course he had no idea what football was but played along anyway. He liked the way she went off into her own little world, talking about the randomest things. Only, that was a problem. Even if they were only to be friends they would eventually leave to go back to their own world's wouldn't they? Or was this city the nexus of everyworld? His head couldn't even undertstand the scenarios he was thinking and stopped thinking about such things. "Fine. It's cold," defeated before the fight started Vincent moved under the covers, feeling much warmer.
Kamereon Toiki (2:00:50 AM): Yaten beamed at Vincent, getting under the blankets, too. "A lot of people don't know. Seiya and Taiki don't even have a name for it~. To them, it's just... what I do." His smile faded from beaming to a very content little smile. "Night, Vincent~" He smiled a little, forcing himself not to feel awkward about sharing a bed with someone who knew he was... well, really female. He closed his eyes, but didn't really fall asleep. Too much to think about.
not a experiment (2:03:10 AM): Unthinking, Vincent's arm found its away around the boy next to him, and pulled the two of them closer together. His eyes were shut, but he knew it felt good to sleep so close to another person. Again, without thinking too much about it, he tilted his head, pecked his cheek, and said "Goodnight, Yaten."
