Luffy, watching the vicious little spawn carefully, felt it wriggling around in his grasp, scraching, clawing, squirming, struggling to free itself. He held fast, though, not releasing it, no matter how much it writhed around.

Frowning, Luffy couldn't help but feel sort of sad over it. A sense of pity, perhaps. The creature didn't seem to have any other desire but to attack him, lacking any sense of reason save for lashing out.

As it fought against his grip, Luffy felt one of its poignant claws nick his skin. He winced, then immediately lost any compassion he might've felt for this little being. His lean arm, toned and lanky, suddenly tensed and bulged with muscle, hidden beneath the relaxed surface of his rubbery skin. Sharply, he whipped his limb away from the wall and sent the Sinscale screaming through the air. It smashed against the surface of the building across the street, and the stone caved in around where its diminuitive body struck.

Luffy, now looking more battle-ready, took a step foward and gathered up his strength. Reaching back one of his arms, he made a motion to flick it, as if cracking a whip, and the pliant limb suddenly began to twist around like a corkscrew. Along the entire length of his arm, it spun tighter and tighter, even making his fist spin around at the end of his wrist. "You're definitely nothing good, are you? In that case..."

He thrust himself forward and brought his spiraling fist hammering in on the buzzing little beast. Despite the average size of Luffy's hand, the blow felt more like a wrecking ball than a simple punch, and as it honed in and struck, his fist spun about and seemed to drill into the creature's body. The entire wall came crashing down suddenly, sending a shower of stone, dust, and debris showering down around it. Luffy's arm came springing back immediately, and came back into place with a thick, rubbery snap.

It was satisfying, this being the first little bit of living malice he had actually defeated from his entry into Paixao. Even better, he hadn't lost his touch; with a simple punch, he had brought down a thick block of solid stone, leaving a rather large crater in the side of the building. He smiled, if only a little...but just for a moment.

Something behind him came crashing down as well, from far away, and made his own attack pale in comparison as a tall structure in the city suddenly rumbled painfully and fell.
