Character(s): Hidan, Lexaeus
Content: Unfortunately for Hidan, while appearing at Paixao has a tendency to cure such ailments as death and lethal wounds, it does not cure being blasted to bits, nor does it cure live burial. Fortunately for Hidan, Lexaeus is there and potentially willing to lend a hand.
Setting: Muspelheim
Time: Afternoonish?
Warnings: Hidan is a warning, all by himself. But in the interest of clarity, expect foul language and bloodshed at the very least.
Hidan woke up to a curious lack of pain.
He wasn't comfortable, not by a long shot; he hadn't been for over a month. Being blown apart into your component chunks and buried alive kind of did that to you.... But still, he didn't actually hurt. There were no beetles biting him, no ants carving off chunks of flesh and marching off to feast on them, no worms squirming into uncomfortable orifices and leaving snail-trails of slime behind them.... The ground here seemed to be completely sterile for some reason. And oddly dry.... Despite the fact that he was constantly bleeding from his regenerative powers, the ground he was laying on was not a muddy soup. Hell, it was hardly even damp yet.
What the hell.... Where was he? Who had moved him? And Why the fuck hadn't they put him back together if they'd bothered to do that?! He doubted he could get any answer down here, not buried alive like this--but what else could he do? It wasn't as if he could do anything else but try to get help or information, even if it wasn't likely someone would hear him under sixty feet of earth.... If he was even that far down anymore. Or not deeper. There was really no way of telling. Fucking Shikamaru and his goddamned pre-prepared battlefield.... Fucking Naruto and his offing Kakuzu.... Fucking Leader-chan and his refusal to rescue him.... It was all their thrice-damned faults he was reduced to this.
Regardless of whose fault it was, h he took his chances, got his hopes up, and coughed up what mud he could to start yelling. "Hey! HEY! Anybody up there? Can you hear me?"
