The moment she had heard the odd woosh sound Yuffie knew she shouldn't have butted in on the discussion between the usefulness of computers and magic that Cid and Merlin had been having. The feeling increased even more when she painfully landed on her bum somewhere.
"Owww," she whined as she quickly scrambled onto her feet. Once she had reorientated herself, she looked around and came to the horrifying realization this wasn't Hollow Bastion anymore. Although some of that horror ebbed away as she carefully took in her new surroundings.
"What is this place?" The awe was clear in her voice and she couldn't help it. The place was just so....shiny! Shinier than anything she had ever seen before and what was with that gate? And the line of people? Like any dutiful ninja it was something she had to check out! After all, she hadn't been in that many worlds and arriving in a new one required at least some exploring. So she joined the cue, standing on her tiptoes to try and see over the top of the strangely blond-haired people's heads.
"Welcome to Paixao! Name please?" Were the enthusiastic words she was met with when she reached the front of the line. Obviously it was this young man's job to welcome strangers in this world of shiny shininess. Yuffie didn’t think strangely of it, maybe it was like Traverse Town!
"I'm the Great Ninja Yuffie!" She declared as she peeked over the counter to watch him write down her name. "Be sure to include Great Ninja with that!"
"You'll want these," he said as he nearly shoved a black little box in her face along with a brochure. "Enjoy your stay!" And with that she was ushered into the shiny city of shiny unknowns before she could even ask any of the questions she had.
