The night masked Zidane's body well, if he thought about closing his eyes, or if he cared to stay hidden at all. Most kept their distance from him, except maybe a lumen stalking nearby. A lopsided grin stuck to his face and he chuckled, stumbling over his own feet and falling into a citizen who passed him by, stared into his vibrant yellow eye and partially green one. He smirked and laughed, a bit drunkenly sounding, before he slumped down to the other side and collapsed to the ground. The citizen ran quickly. Not like Zidane needed his help anyway. He wasn't by a hospital because he needed their medical attention! He was only there because... well... why was he there, he wondered?

The shadows were wonderful, he thought. He would've giggled if he hadn't been sitting on his tail from his small fall. He slowly pushed his body up, stretched his legs like a cat, rolled his head around, and was back up on his feet like a normal person should be!

Except he also didn't know what normal was any more. He certainly had a hard time remembering who he, himself, was. Or had been. Or what he wasn't anymore. No. Wait. Yes?

He cocked his head to the side, then lent it fully back and looked up at the domes, trying to remember why he would've gone to the hospital, and barely remembered how he even made it there, other than that shadows were wonderful and they were fun to trip over - into, through?

Whatever. Didn't matter.

He finally just shrugged and weaved his way into the hospital, almost regretting it when the lights shined down at him and he whined, rising a hand up to shield his eyes. It was in the light that people kept even more of a distance from him; without the night shrouding him, everyone could see the strange dark aura lingering over his body, nearly completely except in some parts. He shivered. His body hurt. A nurse - brave, brave woman - asked if he was alright and for a brief moment he felt like a cornered animal, but then he remembered why he ended up here -

Lexaeus.

Zidane pushed passed the nurse, and begun his search, stumbling and falling against hallway walls, squinting his eyes at what he thought were overly-bright lights, and was searching, searching... almost desperately. He nearly took out several people, but it took the only sanity he had left to hold back the strange, new urges - Lexaeus wouldn't talk to him if he caused problems...
